PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a solar heat utilization hot water system capable of efficiently using solar heat stored in a latent heat storage medium.SOLUTION: A solar heat utilization hot water system 100 using a solar water heater 1 that includes a heat collection portion 2 absorbing solar heat; a heat storage portion 20 including a latent heat storage medium; and a heat exchanger 30 connected to a water supply pipe 103 and a pipe 105 that communicates with a bathtub 80. The solar heat utilization hot water system 100 further comprises radiation excitation means 46 for exciting emission of the solar heat accumulated in the latent heat storage medium, and is configured so that the radiation excitation means 46 excites the emission of at least a part of the solar heat accumulated in the latent heat storage medium and the water heated by the heat exchanger 30 is supplied to the bathtub 80 on the basis of a user's instruction to fill the bathtub 80 with the hot water.
