PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a linear actuator for beds having high silence and, even during sleep, capable of operating a bed without disturbing sound sleep.SOLUTION: A linear actuator 1 uses a motor 34 as a power source and is drivingly controlled by a controller 81. The linear actuator 1 includes: a shaft 26 that is normally/reversely rotated by the motor via a worm 36 and a worm gear 41; screw nut 29 that is threadedly mounted on the shaft 26; and a piston tube 10 that is fixed to the screw nut 29 and advances/retreats with the rotation of the shaft 26. The controller 81 includes a motor driver 82 using an FET 83 as a power supply system for the motor 34 so as to prevent sleep disturbance due to operation sound and noise failure due to spike noise and eliminate response delay due to time delay. When the motor 34 is turned from a driven side, the motor driver 82 performs regenerative braking to put on a brake to the movement of the piston tube. |
