摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a negative electrode for a lithium ion secondary battery with high capacity and excellent charge and discharge cycle characteristics, a lithium ion secondary battery having the same, and a method for manufacturing a negative electrode.SOLUTION: A method for manufacturing a negative electrode comprises the steps of: providing a salient 11 on a surface of a substrate 10 composed of a first negative electrode material; forming a metal thin film 12 on the surface including the salient 11; removing the substrate 10 till the metal thin film 12 and the salient 11 are exposed from the rear surface side of a surface 101 of the substrate 10 in which the metal thin film 12 is formed; forming a layer 201 for a negative electrode material including a second negative electrode material on the surface on which the metal thin film 12 and the salient 11 are exposed; and pressing a laminate composed of the salient 11, the metal thin film 12, and the layer 201.
