PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a laser transmission fiber which is resistant to vibration and shock.SOLUTION: A laser transmission fiber 10 includes an optical fiber 12 comprising a core 16 and a cladding 18 surrounding the core 16, and a window block 14 having a cross section larger than that of the optical fiber 12 and a refractive index approximately identical to that of the core 16 of the optical fiber 12. The laser transmission fiber 10 has the optical fiber 12 connected to the window block 14 such that an end surface 12a of the optical fiber 12 is positioned inside the window block 14 at an inward level from an end surface 14a thereof on the optical fiber 12 side.
