PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heat-sensitive transfer recording medium which improves both adhesion of a receiving layer to a dye layer occurring in a high concentration portion and abnormal transfer of the dye layer occurring in a medium concentration portion, and is excellent in storage property, even when an image has been formed on a heat-sensitive transfer image-receiving sheet having an aqueous receiving layer formed thereon by heat transfer.SOLUTION: A dye layer is formed on a base material, and a coating liquid, which is at least a copolymer of polyvinyl acetoacetal and polyvinyl butyral or a mixture of the copolymer of the polyvinyl acetoacetal and the polyvinyl butyral with a polyvinyl acetoacetal resin as a binder of the dye layer, has a molar ratio of the acetoacetal to the butyl acetal in a range of 95/5 to 55/45, and contains an isocyanate-based curing agent, is applied, dried, and subjected to heat treatment to be formed into a coated film. |
