PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a brake control system 2 which is low in a manufacturing cost, small in size and capable of obtaining sufficient braking force and to provide a crane 1 mounted with the brake control system.SOLUTION: A brake control system 2 is installed on a mobile body 1 which travels. The brake control system 2 comprises; a lifting mechanism 23 fixed to the mobile body 1; a reception section 22 installed below the lifting mechanism 23; and a brake shoe 21 suspended below the reception section 22 through suspension members 27. The brake shoe 21 has a brake shoe upper surface 24 provided with inclination sections 24u and 24d. The reception section 22 has a reception section lower surface 26 provided with the inclination sections 26u and 26d corresponding to the brake shoe upper surface 24. In braking, the reception section 22 and the brake shoe 21 are lowered by operation of the lifting mechanism 23, the brake shoe 21 is grounded and the reception section 22 is moved over the brake shoe upper surface 24 due to a movement of the mobile body 1. |
