PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a display device and electronic equipment that can reduce crosstalk between two images.SOLUTION: A display device comprises: a display panel 1; backlight 101 that irradiates a rear surface of the display panel 1 with light; and a parallax barrier 33 in which an aperture part 33a is provided, which is formed of a light shielding material on front surfaces of a pixel Vpix(R) and a pixel Vpix(G), and has no light shielding material formed at a boundary part between the pixel Vpix(R) and the Vpix(G), and which makes light from the pixel Vpix(G) pass through the aperture part 33a and be emitted in a first direction, and makes light from the pixel Vpix(R) pass through the aperture 33a and be emitted in a second direction. At least a part of light emitted from the backlight 101 and made incident on the boundary part between the pixel Vpix(R) and the Vpix(G) passes through the aperture 33a, and thereby, luminance of a first image when the first image and a second image are colored into a black image, is increased. |
