<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cooling monitoring device for determining the deterioration of the cooling capability of a fan even with respect to any relationship other than a relationship between a CPU operation rate and a CPU temperature.SOLUTION: A fan rotational frequency control part controls the rotational frequency of a fan on the basis of a relationship between the predetermined temperature of an object to be cooled and the rotational frequency of the fan. A power consumption measurement part measures the power consumption of the object to be cooled which is being cooled by the fan. A power consumption/rotational frequency relationship generation part generates a correspondence relationship between the fan rotational frequency to be controlled by the fan rotational frequency control part and the power consumption to be measured by the power consumption measurement part. Then, a similarity determination part compares the two correspondence relationships between the power consumption and rotational frequency generated by the power consumption/rotational frequency relationship generation part in a state that the cooling capability of the fan is not deteriorated and a state that the cooling capability of the fan is deteriorated, and determines similarity.</p> |
