<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent adhesive from entering annular space when fixing a turntable and a rotor holder with the adhesive.SOLUTION: A spindle motor includes: a shaft; a turntable 41; a substantially cylindrical lidded rotor holder 22 having a lid part 222, and fixed to the shaft, below the turntable; and a bearing mechanism. The turntable includes: a table body 5 having a disk placement part 411, a storage recess part 56 capable of storing a cone, and an annular recess part 51 becoming hollow upward below the disk placement part; multiple spheres 61 disposed so as to be able to roll in the annular recess part; and an annular closing part 62 disposed between the table body and the rotor holder, for closing an opening below the annular recess part. An upper surface of the lid part of the rotor holder includes: a first surface being in contact with the table body; and a second surface located below the first surface. A gap between the second surface and the turntable is provided with an adhesive storage part 70 where adhesive exists.</p> |
