<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To partially change a discharge amount in an axial direction corresponding to uneven wear of a layer formed on the surface of a photoreceptor drum.SOLUTION: A charging device includes a base material 81 that charges the surface of a photoreceptor drum 21, and a plurality of charging electrodes 82 that each have an electric resistance value different from one another in at least a part of an area along an axial direction of the photoreceptor drum 21 and selectively apply a charging voltage to the base material 81; and the charging device switches the plurality of charging electrodes 82 that apply the charging voltage to the base material 81 according to the usage of the photoreceptor drum 21.</p> |
