<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress the occurrence of an image defect caused by the reaching onto a photoreceptor of laser light reflected by the light shielding part of a diaphragm.SOLUTION: An optical scanner includes a light source unit 62 emitting the laser light, a diaphragm 66 shielding a part of the laser light emitted from the light source unit 62, a deflector 61 deflecting the laser light after passing through the diaphragm 66, and an optical box 90 in which the light source unit 62, the diaphragm 66, and the deflector 61 are arranged on the bottom surface thereof and which is closed by attaching a cover to an opening surface facing the bottom surface. The diaphragm 66 includes a light shielding surface shielding the laser light, to form a spot shape and the light shielding surface is inclined with respect to a virtual plane where the center axis of the laser light incident on the diaphragm 66 is a normal line, so that the laser light reflected by the light shielding surface is reflected to the side of the cover attached to the optical box 90.</p> |
