PURPOSE: An apparatus and a method for controlling a radio link protocol in a mobile communication system are provided to dynamically control a radio link protocol according to a service feature, thereby preventing unnecessary RLP retransmission. CONSTITUTION: An application information receiver(130) receives application information driven in a terminal(200). An RLP retransmission timer(150) measures limit time of RLP packet retransmission. An RLP packet communication unit(160) transfers an RLP packet or an RLP retransmission packet. A controller(120) decides the limit time in consideration of a service feature. |
