The present invention relates to a protection net for preventing rocks from falling. The present invention includes: multiple wire ropes which are installed to intersect with each other in the horizontal and vertical direction to prevent the rocks from falling from a rock face; a wire fixing units which is installed on the intersection points of the wire ropes to fix the wire ropes onto the rock face; and a tension force application unit which is installed on the wire ropes to apply the tension force to strain the wire ropes. The protection net according to the present invention, which is for preventing rocks from falling, has the tension force application unit applying the tension force to the wire ropes supporting the rock face to maintain reliable supporting force of the wire ropes even if the protection net is installed for long time. |
