PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a turbocharger capable of preventing seizure of a shaft, and leakage of an exhaust gas, reducing deterioration of components, and reducing the number of components.SOLUTION: In a turbocharger 1 including a wastegate valve 30 connected to a shaft member 40 journaled to a supporting hole 24 of a turbine housing 21, the wastegate valve 30 has an inclined surface 31 on a part opposed to an opening portion 23 of a bypass passage 22. When the wastegate valve 30 is opened, an exhaust gas X presses the inclined surface 31 when the exhaust gas X flows in, thus thrust force S1 acts in the axial direction of the shaft member 40, and a seal contact portion 52 is pressed to a peripheral edge portion 62 of the supporting hole 24 through a seal member 70. |
