PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a nonaqueous secondary battery which makes it possible to achieve a high-level overcharge protection based on gas generation from a nonaqueous electrolytic solution, and an extended battery life, and to provide an electrolytic solution for nonaqueous secondary battery use which can be used therefor.SOLUTION: A nonaqueous secondary battery comprises: a particular negative electrode; a particular positive electrode; and an electrolytic solution for nonaqueous secondary battery use. The electrolytic solution for nonaqueous secondary battery use includes a particular aromatic compound expressed by the following formula (1) or (2), an organic solvent, and a particular electrolyte. (In the formula above, Rto R, R, Rand Rrepresent a hydrogen atom or a monovalent substituent group independently of each other, provided that of these groups, the adjacent substituent groups may be bonded or condensed with each other to form a ring; n represents an integer of 1-8; p represents an integer of 1-6; and m represents an integer of 1-3.) |
