PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sphygmomanometer for raising interest in blood pressure measurement of a user by notifying cautionary time of a blood pressure value from a past measurement value.SOLUTION: A sphygmomanometer 10 includes: a download control unit 47 for acquiring statistical data of blood pressure values over different times of the year; a cautionary season determination unit 48 for determining a cautionary season that is a season when a highest blood pressure value becomes the highest and/or a season when a difference between the highest blood pressure value and a lowest blood pressure value becomes the minimum, from the statistical data acquired by the download control unit 47; and a display unit 21 for notifying a user of the cautionary season determined by the cautionary season determination unit 48.
