PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce deterioration of image quality due to stripe removal.SOLUTION: In a stripe detection unit 31, a stripe extending in the sub-scanning direction is detected in an original image, and a stripe range in the main-scanning direction of the stripe is specified. In a correction processing unit 32, a pixel value in the stripe range is corrected in the sub-scanning direction in order to remove the stripe in the original image. Then, in a correction stop determination unit 33, a final end of the strip is detected on the basis of the pixel value in the strip strange, and when the final end of the strip is detected, correction of the pixel value in the stripe range due to a correction processing unit 32 is stopped. |
