PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a printing system and a method capable of generating an electronic file having the same contents as that of a printed matter and allowing a user to find the electronic file easily and certainly.SOLUTION: A printing system of the present invention comprises: a printer driver for causing an image processor to print data; a computerization driver for generating an electronic file of print object data and storing the electronic file in a prescribed storage location; and a virtual driver for controlling the printer driver and the computerization driver. The virtual driver outputs to the printer driver print data in which a two-dimensional code is added to the print object data and outputs the print object data and attribute information of the electronic file to the computerization driver. Then the printing system of the present invention provides storage destination information indicating the storage location of the electronic file. |
