PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a packing support tool capable of easily cutting both end surfaces of the string-like packing to be parallel with each other at a prescribed tilt angle.SOLUTION: A packing support tool 1 for supporting both ends 16 and 17 of string-like packing 15 and cutting the ends of the string-like packing 15 includes a pair of upper and lower packing support holes 3-5 for removably supporting the ends 16 and 17 of the string-like packing 15, and a slit 2 provided in such a manner of crossing the packing support holes 3-5 at a prescribed angle with respect to axes 3a-5a of the packing support holes 3-5 so that a cutting blade can be inserted and removed thereto and therefrom. The ends 16 and 17 of the string-like packing are inserted into the packing support holes 3-5, and by inserting the cutting blade into the slit 2, the ends 16 and 17 of the string-like packing can be cut to be parallel with each other at the prescribed tilt angle. |
