PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform processing after stop and processing related to communication injecting in an appropriate manner.SOLUTION: A method for controlling a fuel cell vehicle comprises: charging upon stop processing and EGR stop processing (t10-t15) to open a main stop valve, supply hydrogen to a stack, and continue power generation and discharge by the stack after an ignition switch is turned off; communication injecting (t15-t16) to inject hydrogen supplied by an external hydrogen station into a hydrogen tank while transmitting a data signal indicating the state of the hydrogen tank to the hydrogen station in response to the issuance of a hydrogen injecting start request to the hydrogen tank (t11); and waiting steps (t11-t15) to wait to start communication injecting until charging upon stop processing and EGR stop processing in execution finish if the injecting start request is issued during execution of the charging upon stop processing and the EGR stop processing.
