PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide: a pigment composition which exert the excellent performance of dispersibility, flowability, storage stability and brightness not only for a usage of paint, off-set ink, and gravure ink pigment or the like having particles with a comparatively large diameter but also for a finer pigment of such as inkjet ink, and color filter ink; and a color filter.SOLUTION: The pigment composition comprises a pigment, and according to the present invention, a dispersant (A) having an aromatic carboxyl group and a vinyl resin (B) having one or more skeleton selected from the group consisting of morpholyl, imidazolyl, caprolactam, and pyridyl skeletons. Preferably, the dispersant (A) having the aromatic carboxyl group is a reaction product of a polymer (C) having a hydroxyl group with an aromatic tricarboxylic acid anhydride (D1) and/or an aromatic tetracarboxylic acid anhydride (D2). |
