<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information processing apparatus capable of modifying a character with a small number of operations and a character input method.SOLUTION: According to a portable terminal 100 of this embodiment, when one character is received by a hover input in a touch panel 109 constituting a touch panel display, and subsequently, a modification instruction for modifying the one character is received by a touch input, a CPU 101 generates a modification character based on the one character and the modification instruction, and a display part 106 constituting the touch panel display displays the generated modification character. Thus, modification processing to a character can be performed without performing a touch operation a plurality of times.</p> |
