<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To restrain a piston constituting a multi-plate clutch from being deformed by an action of engagement oil pressure or centrifugal oil pressure.SOLUTION: A piston 220 constituting a clutch C2 of an automatic transmission 25 includes: a pressure receiving part 221 movably supported by an input shaft 26, and receiving oil pressure in an engagement oil chamber 225; and a cylindrical extension part 222 and a cylindrical pressing part 223 extending from the pressure receiving part 221. The cylindrical extension part 222 extends from the pressure receiving part 221 in a direction away from a clutch hub 200, and defines the engagement oil chamber 225 together with an engagement oil chamber defining member 230 supported by the input shaft 26. The cylindrical pressing part 223 extends toward a separator plate 205 and a friction plate 215 from the pressure receiving part 221, so that the separator plate 205 and the friction plate 215 can be pressed.</p> |
