<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a video reception device and the like, capable of performing a series of processing related to image recognition processing with a lower processing load.SOLUTION: The video reception device includes: a video input part 49 for receiving a video including content to be switched in accordance with the lapse of time; a recognition cycle determination part 47 for determining a cycle in the case of repeating image recognition to the received video; a video extraction part 45 for repeatedly extracting, from the video, a partial video as a part of the video in the determined cycle; and a control part 41 for, each time the partial video is extracted by the video extraction part 45, performing control for the output of the extracted partial video to an image recognition device 20 and the acquisition of the result of image recognition to the partial video from the image recognition device 20. The recognition cycle determination part 47 determines possibility that content switching, which is switching of the content, has occurred or the existence of the possibility of occurrence in the video, and when determining that the possibility exists, changes the cycle to a smaller value.</p> |
