<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a stable manufacturing method of a flat circular pie having layers in a spiral direction, with a cross section of the stacked layers exposed at the top and bottom.SOLUTION: A rolled pie dough is wound around the axis of a core rod into a roll state, and cooled for solidification. The core rod is then pulled out, so that a "wound pie dough" having a void space in the center part is thus prepared. The "wound pie dough" is cut from the edge in a direction intersecting the stacked layers. The cut dough is placed on a top plate for baking, such that the cross section faces upward or downward. A disc-shaped pie confectionery having the cross section of stacked layers in a spiral form at the top and bottom can be thereby stably manufactured. The suitable diameter of the core rod is 100 to 350% of the thickness of the pie dough.</p> |
