PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mat repairing method, having improved work efficiency without application of adhesives.SOLUTION: A mat repairing method uses a repair sheet piece 32a cut out to a size for covering a scar 28 from a laminate sheet 10 composed of an unvulcanized rubber sheet 2 and an adhesive sheet 6, or uses the laminate sheet 10 itself as a repair sheet piece 32a. The repair sheet piece 32a is disposed at a corresponding position on a rubber face 14 of a mat 12 such that the adhesive sheet 6 of the repair sheet piece 32a contacts and covers the scar 28, forming a mat sheet laminate 34. A pressing device 40 includes a heating and pressing part 42 and a pressure receiving part 44. The mat sheet laminate 34 is disposed between the heating and pressing part 42 and the pressure receiving part 44 such that the repair sheet piece 32a is opposed to the heating and pressing part 42. The heating and pressing part 42 is heated to a predetermined temperature and pressed to the pressure receiving part 44 for a predetermined time, so that the unvulcanized rubber sheet 2 is heat bonded to the rubber face 14 having the scar 28 through the adhesive sheet 6. |
