PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To optimally execute restoration processing when a failure occurs by efficiently operating a virtual PC.SOLUTION: A server 10 has an SSD 13 allocated as a storage region of a virtual machine environment, and an HDD 14 being a storage part having larger capacity than the SSD 13 and slower operating speed than the SSD 13 to store an image of an active virtual machine. The server 10 stores the image of the virtual machine in the HDD 14 at predetermined timing. Then, the server 10 acquires information about operations of the virtual machine, and detects a failure of the virtual machine by using the information about the operations. Subsequently, the server 10 reads the image of the virtual machine stored in the HDD 14, and restores the virtual machine if a failure of the virtual machine is detected. |
