PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cell stack device and an electrochemical device capable of improving the efficiency of power generation by reducing a difference in flow rate of a fuel gas supplied to the inside of each cell of the cell stack.SOLUTION: A cell stack device 1 comprises a cell stack 2 created by arranging a plurality of cells 3 having therein a gas passage penetrating from one end to the other end and a manifold 20 having an opening part 21, the one end side of the stack 2 being inserted into the opening part 21 of the manifold 20 to seal and secure, a gas being supplied from an internal space of the manifold 20 to the gas passage, wherein a bottom face 23 of the manifold 20 is provided, at a position facing the end part in arrangement direction A of the stack 2, with a convex part 24 causing a space between the stack 2 and the manifold 20 to be narrowed. |
