PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a swallowed object cover by which disintegration time of a swallowed object in water may be controlled, its adhesion to inner wall of oral cavity is suppressed, and the swallowed object may be easily swallowed.SOLUTION: A swallowed object cover of the present invention comprises an edible film and a swallowed object covered with the edible film. The edible film comprises shellac (A), a vinylpyrrolidone alone or its copolymer (B), and nonionic water soluble macromolecule (C). The content of the shellac (A) in the edible film is 10 to 30 mass%. The content of the vinylpyrrolidone alone or its copolymer (B) is 2 to 35 mass%. The content of the nonionic water soluble macromolecule (C) is 25 to 88 mass%. |
