<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a back-up power supply device capable of reducing wasteful power consumption due to self-discharge or the like of a secondary battery.SOLUTION: A secondary battery supplies electric power to a load driven by electric power supplied from a main power source. As a stand-by power supply which supplies electric power to the load, a plurality of metal-air batteries in a standby state where an electrolyte is not injected are prepared. The electrolyte injected into the metal-air battery is stored in a storage tank while being shut off from the atmosphere. An injection mechanism injects the electrolyte stored in the storage tank into the metal-air batteries by receiving command from a control device.</p> |
