PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power supply apparatus, a power receiver and a charging system capable of preventing radiation of magnetic flux component in a horizontal direction with respect to the ground.SOLUTION: The power supply apparatus is an apparatus installed on the ground to supply the power to a power receiver which is provided to a vehicle by using the electromagnetic force. The power supply apparatus comprises: a power supply section that includes a spiral coil or a solenoid coil; a frequency characteristic acquisition section that acquires a frequency characteristic of the power supply efficiency from the power supply section to the power receiver; a peak determination section that determines the peak of the power supply efficiency in the frequency characteristic; and a drive frequency determination section that, when two peaks are determined, determines the frequency in the vicinity of the lower frequency prior to the frequency in the vicinity of the higher frequency in the two peaks as the drive frequency used for the power supply.
