PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a height adjustment member capable of easily adjusting the installation height of a temporary scaffold.SOLUTION: A height adjustment member consists of a height adjustment column 68 and upper and lower fixtures 81, 82 for vertically fixing a vertical column 22 of a temporary scaffold to the height adjustment column 68 at least at two upper and lower positions. The height adjustment column 68 is provided vertically with plural height adjustment holes 67 and plural lock fittings 28 capable of fixing the lower fixture 81 to the height adjustment column 68 at various height positions. The lower fixture 81 consists of a height adjustment part 81a having a fixation hole 83 for fixing the vertical column 22 at any height position of the adjustment holes 67 and a support part 81b capable of vertically fixing the vertical column 22.
