PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gear device which effectively captures foreign objects in a lubrication oil.SOLUTION: A gear device includes: a lubrication oil passage 37 provided in a casing 11 for storing gears 13a to 13d; oil transfer means which transfers a lubrication oil 16 stored in the casing 11 to the lubrication oil passage 37; and a deposition part 39 provided at the lubrication oil passage 37 and where foreign objects in the lubrication oil 16 flowing in the lubrication oil passage 37 are deposited. The gear device deposits the foreign objects in the deposition part 39 to capture the foreign objects. Thus, the structure for capturing the foreign objects is simplified and excellent economical efficiency is achieved. Further, the gear device easily eliminates the foreign objects deposited in the deposition part 39 by suctioning, picking, wiping or the like and thus achieves excellent maintainability. |
