PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make it possible to easily adjust storage elastic modulus of a gelled ionomer solution to 150 Pa or above.SOLUTION: A method for manufacturing a catalyst ink for a fuel cell comprises the steps of: (i) preparing a catalyst dispersion liquid by mixing an electrode catalyst, water, and alcohol; (ii) preparing a gelled ionomer solution by mixing ionomer and a solvent; and (iii) manufacturing a catalyst ink by mixing the catalyst dispersion liquid and the gelled ionomer solution. The step (ii) includes a step of concentrating the gelled ionomer solution after mixing ionomer and the solvent. |
