<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a transmission device capable of responding to a wide-range gear ratio and of securing mounting versatility by using a common casing material.SOLUTION: The transmission device includes a casing 1 which has a pair of right and left casing pieces 1a, 1b joined to each other, and in which a drive transmission mechanism 40 is stored for transmitting power from a driving machine 30 to a driven machine. The casing pieces are formed in symmetry to a center line, provided with bearing supporting parts 2b, 2c for a plurality of drive transmission shafts 41, 42, 43 so that the axial centers of the drive transmission shafts have mutually parallel attitudes and the drive transmission shafts can be arranged in symmetry to the center line, configured so that a first external transmission shaft is connected to at least one of the drive transmission shafts and a second external transmission shaft is connected to the other drive transmission shafts, and constructed of such a material that one of the first and second external transmission shafts can be formed as either a first connection part to be connected to the drive transmission shaft in a first attitude parallel to the axial center or a second connection part to be connected to the drive transmission shaft in a second attitude perpendicular thereto.</p> |
