PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To control the winding temperature and the iron core temperature independently to a predetermined temperature, without requiring a lot of time and efforts.SOLUTION: A motor 1 for evaluating the iron core characteristics comprises a Peltier element 11a attached to the outer peripheral surface of a stator core 3 parallel with the central axis thereof. On the basis of a temperature measurement of the stator core 3 inputted from a temperature sensor 10, a controller 12 controls the carrying amount of current to a winding 3c and the Peltier element 11a so that the temperature of the stator core 3 is a target temperature. Consequently, the temperature of the winding 3c and stator core 3 can be controlled independently to a predetermined temperature, without requiring a lot of time and efforts.
