PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an article cooling apparatus having plural storage chambers each having different conditions capable of appropriately cooling plural storage chambers according to storage chamber conditions.SOLUTION: The article cooling apparatus comprises: plural (three) storage chambers; i.e., a left storage chamber A, a center storage chamber B and a right storage chamber C each having storage chamber heat exchangers 51A, 51B, 51C which work as an evaporator when operating refrigeration cycle and storage chamber fans 61A, 61B, 61C capable changing the number of revolutions for circulating the air cooled by the storage chamber heat exchangers 51A, 51B, 51C. When performing cooling operation of each of the storage chambers A, B, C in a refrigeration cycle mode under a heavy load as initial cooling operation, operation control means controls the number of revolutions of the storage chamber fans 61A, 61B, 61C to be slower than that in ordinary operation and the number of revolutions of the storage chamber fan 61C of the right storage chamber C with a relatively endothermic amount to be larger number of revolutions of the storage chamber fan 61B in the center storage chamber B and the storage chamber fan 61A in the left storage chamber A with smaller endothermic amount than that of the right storage chamber C. |
