PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a printing device in which it can be selected whether or not to use assisting liquid when using a predetermined printing medium.SOLUTION: A printing device has a head and a control unit. The head discharges imaging liquid for forming an image and assisting liquid for assisting image formation by the imaging liquid to a predetermined printing medium. The control unit can selectively execute a first mode and a second mode to the predetermined printing medium. In the first mode, the imaging liquid and the assisting liquid are discharged from the head. In the second mode, the imaging liquid is discharged from the head and the assisting liquid is not discharged from the head. |
