PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electronic device, a display control method and a program that can excellently attain improvement in convenience of a user and reduction in power consumption.SOLUTION: When a screen displayed on a display 3 includes a scrollable scroll object area, and a first condition that the scroll object area is not scrolled up to a scroll position where a last part of a display content in the scroll object area is displayed on the display 3 is satisfied, a control part 11 prolongs a limitation time in comparison with a case where the screen does not include the scroll object area or executes a first control not to perform a dimming-light of the display 3 or a light-off thereof based on the limitation time. Further, when the screen displayed on the display 3 includes the scroll object area and the first condition is not satisfied, the control part 11 shortens the limitation time in comparison with the first control, or executes a second control to perform the dimming-light of the display 3 or the light-off thereof based on the limitation time. |
