PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a solar cell having a transparent conductive layer with a convexo-concave structure formed on the surface thereof to increase the power generation efficiency and a manufacturing method thereof.SOLUTION: Minute convexo-concave structures 11 are formed on plane portions 13 included in concave portions between texture structures 12 and a front end area to reduce the light reflection quantity at the transparent conductive layer surface while maintaining a film thickness of a transparent conductive layer which satisfies both of the optical transparency and the conductivity. In particular, plural convex portions 11 of a composition identical to that of the transparent conductive layer 5 and an oxygen concentration lower than that of the transparent conductive layer 5 are formed on the surface of the transparent conductive layer 5 excluding light-receiving surface electrodes. |
