PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a contact device capable of suppressing increase in cost of manufacture while improving deposition resistance.SOLUTION: The contact device comprises: contact parts 11 and 21 in which contacts 1 and 2 which are relatively movable so as to be contacted with and separated from each other are contacted with each other, respectively; and electrode parts 12 and 22 which are not contacted with each other. The contact parts 11 and 21 are formed planar and the electrode parts 12 and 22 are formed spherical, such that an arc 3 is generated more easily between the electrode parts 12 and 22 than between the contact parts 11 and 21. In the process of opening/closing the contacts 1 and 2, the generation of the arc 3 between the contact parts 11 and 21 is suppressed by generating the arc 3 between the electrode parts 12 and 22, deposition resistance is improved in comparison with the case where the electrode parts 12 and 22 are not provided. In comparison with the case where a contact to be driven separately is provided, the number of components is not increased, thereby suppressing increase in cost of manufacture. |
