<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electronic apparatus capable of accommodating it even if power consumption of a whole system exceeds a specified value.SOLUTION: A battery is built in a POS terminal as an auxiliary power supply apart from a main power supply and under an ordinary load, power supply is performed from only the main power supply. When power consumption of the whole POS terminal exceeds a fixed value, power supply is performed from the battery as well. Power consumption which is short of in the main power supply can be backed up by the battery; therefore a more margin of the main power supply can be taken and hence the main power supply can be miniaturized by an increment of the margin, thus contributing to cost reduction in the power supply.</p> |
