<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize a display controller and a display control method for allowing a dichromat person to quickly discriminate between colors.SOLUTION: Provided is a display control method for accepting, as its input, a color image signal and converting it into a signal indicating an image distinguishable by a dichromat person, the display control method performing: a first color conversion process for converting the color of an image indicated by a color image signal to obtain a converted image; a tone curve process for generating an image obtained by image processing using a tone curve for converting the color of a specific region of the converted image to a region on a color projection plane; and a second color conversion process for performing, on the image generated by the tone curve process, a color conversion process which is an inverse of the first color conversion process and thereby producing a converted color image signal. Used in the tone curve process are a plurality of tone curves in which a plurality of regions in an input pixel value to be converted change gradually.</p> |
