<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a measurement method for performing colorimetry on the quantity of glycosylated hemoglobin in a measurement sample accurately, easily and promptly on a job site of diagnosis, and a multilayer specimen.SOLUTION: The measurement method is characterized in that colorimetry is performed on the quantity of glycosylated hemoglobin at least from a step (1) to a step (4) while using a multilayer specimen formed by laminating at least a layer (a), a layer (b) and a layer (c) in the order of the layers (a)/(b)/(c) from a measurement sample spot application surface. The layer (a) is a polymer base material carrying at least glycated amino acid oxidase, the layer (b) is a water non-permeable polymer base material, and the layer (c) is a polymer base material carrying at least protease. The step (1) is a step of spot-applying a measurement sample on a top face of the multilayer specimen, and the step (2) is a step of removing the layer (b). The step (3) is a step of measuring reflectance and/or absorbance, using reflection light, from a surface of the multilayer specimen opposite to a measurement sample spot application surface, and the step (4) is a step of calculating one or more from among the quantity of hemoglobin, the quantity of glycosylated hemoglobin and a ratio of the quantity of glycosylated hemoglobin with respect to the quantity of hemoglobin in accordance with the obtained reflectance and/or absorbance.</p> |
