<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a work machine capable of achieving both sufficient reduction in fuel consumption and efficient workability.SOLUTION: A work machine comprises a control device which controls a rotation speed of an engine on the basis of first to third control characteristic lines setting relations between an operation amount of an acceleration pedal and the rotation speed of the engine. The control device has: a first engine rotation speed control section which performs control of the rotation speed of the engine in accordance with the first control characteristic line with priority placed on an operating speed when the work machine is in operation; a second engine rotation speed control section which performs the control of the rotation speed of the engine in accordance with the second control characteristic line with the priority placed on saving fuel consumption when the work machine is traveling with a travel load lower than a predetermined load; and a third engine rotation speed control section which performs the control of the rotation speed of the engine in accordance with the third control characteristic line positioned between the first control characteristic line and the second control characteristic line when the work machine is traveling with the travel load not less than the predetermined load.</p> |
