<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing a polymer by which living anionic polymerization of a polymerizable monomer having a long chain alkyl group can be performed at a temperature which allows industrial production, and which further provides a polymer of narrow molecular weight distribution having a long chain alkyl group.SOLUTION: Provided is a method for producing a polymer by subjecting a polymerizable monomer including a polymerizable monomer (A) having a long chain alkyl group to living anionic polymerization in the presence of a polymerization initiator (C) using a microreactor provided with a flow channel which can mix a plurality of liquids. Further, when producing a block copolymer, an intermediate polymer obtained by subjecting a first polymerizable monomer and the polymerization initiator (C) to living anionic polymerization in a microreactor and a second polymerizable monomer are subjected to living anionic polymerization, where as at least either of the first polymerizable monomer or the second polymerizable monomer, there is used one containing the polymerizable monomer (A) having a long chain alkyl group.</p> |
