PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a point registration device which is capable of simplifying an operation of registering a plurality of points on a map in a display screen.SOLUTION: The point registration device includes: operation input means for accepting user's instructing operation on a display image displayed in a display screen of a display unit; and instructing operation detection means for detecting user's instructing operation on the display screen, which is accepted by the operation input means. The point registration device further includes determination means which determines a series of user's consecutive instructing operations on the display screen as an operation for designating a plurality of points on a map image displayed in the display screen, on the basis of the detection result of instructing operations in the instructing operation detection means and, if a position of an instructing operation on the display screen subsequent to the operation for designating the plurality of points is in a predetermined prescribed area within the display screen, determines this instructing operation as an instruction to collectively register the plurality of points.
