PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cover lock mechanism, along with an electronic device using the same, capable of easily attaching/detaching a cover to/from a body part of the electronic device.SOLUTION: A cover lock mechanism is used for releasing engagement between a cover member engaged with a body through an engagement piece and the body, with a press button, a shaft, and an elastic component provided. The press button is attached rotatably to the body through the shaft. The elastic component is attached so as to surround the shaft, and is elastically abutment-stopped by the press button. At one end of the press button, an abutment stop block is protruded. When the press button is pressurized, the press button is rotated through the shaft, so that, the abutment stop block propels the engagement piece so that engagement between the engagement piece and the body is released. At the same time, the elastic component is twisted to accumulate elastic force. When an external force to the press button is removed, the elastic component releases elastic force, to restore the press button to an original position. |
