The present invention relates to a pole protection apparatus. The pole protection apparatus includes: a base unit fixed on a pole extending in the vertical direction; and a shock absorbing drum which generates a rotation moment by an external force applied from the outside, is rotatably installed on the base unit to have the pole as the center, and is formed to surround the outer peripheral surface of the pole. The pole protection apparatus according to the present invention is installed on the pole to make the shock absorbing drum rotate when a vehicle crashes to get the vehicle out of the way from the pole. Accordingly, the present invention can prevent the vehicle from directly crashing into the pole and reduce the shock applied to the vehicle. |
