PURPOSE: A method for predicting or diagnosing idiopathic recurrent spontaneous abortion using plasminogen activator inhibitor-1 gene polymorphisms is provided to ensure effective prediction and diagnosis. CONSTITUTION: A method for predicting or diagnosing idiopathic recurrent spontaneous abortion(RSA) comprises a step of determining polymorphism among: PAI-1 -844 A>G(rs2227631) at -844th base from transcription initiation site; PAI-1 -675 4G/5G(rs1799768) at -675th base from the transcription initiation site, based on insertion of a guanine; PAI-1 +43 G>A(rs6092) at _43th base from translation initiation site of exon 1; PAI-1 +9785 G>A(rs2227694) at _9785th base from the translation initiation site of exon 1; and PAI-1 +11053 T>G(rs7242) at +1153th base from the translation initiation site of exon 1. |
